报告摘要

The BRAHMS experiment at RHIC has measured minimum bias distributions of identified charged hadrons in p+p collisions at 62.4 and 200 GeV at RHIC. Systematic features of rapidity distributions are presented, including those on net proton and net-baryons. Extended longitudinal scaling is observed with no change in features up to 200 GeV. Possible insight from these data for cosmic ray understanding is briefly presented. The rapidity distributions are compared to PYTHIA, and EPOS results. The high rapidity identified pT distributions for charged hadrons are compared to NLO and NLL pQCD calculations. I will also briefly summarize the BRAHMS transverse spin asymmetry measurements.

Flemming Videbaek,1974年博士毕业于丹麦根本哈根大学,1989年至今在美国布鲁克海文国家实验室从事高能重离子对撞的研究,任终身研究员。曾长期担任RHIC-Brahms国际合作组发言人。目前担任STAR-iTPC探测器升级负责人。
